Lithology and Thickness
It consists of red-colored plagio-porphyries, keratophyres, felsite-porphyries, trachybasalts, trachytes and their tuffs with layers of marbles and sandstones. The incomplete thickness is 800 m.

It is widespread in the Rushan Ridge (Southern Pamir) in the upper reaches of the river Shkam.
